One of the basic requirements of diving is to minimize the risks as much as possible, which is why good equipment is essential. This is where a watch that can resist extremes of water pressure and on which you can count on in any situation comes into play: properties that are united in the Davosa Ternos series of dive watches. The Ternos Ceramic's case has a diameter of 40mm and is made of 316L stainless steel with a satin-brushed and polished finish. The design and finishing of the case are elegant, with contrasting polishes on the stainless steel carrure elements which complement the bracelet. It also features turned-down lugs for a more comfortable fit on a wide range of wrist sizes. The case is water resistant down to 20 ATM - 200 meters underwater. The large screwed down crown is protected with solid flared crown guards and is located at the 3 o'clock position. The caseback is made of 316L stainless steel and is screwed-on in order to ensure its water resistance.

The matte dial is protected by a scratch resistant sapphire glass crystal with an anti reflective coating to ensure that the dial can be easily read even under direct sunlight or deep underwater. There is a date window at the 3 o'clock position with a Cyclops magnifier.

The Ternos Ceramic utilizes state-of-the-art Super-LumiNova luminous pigments which ensure exceptional luminous properties. A generous amount of this material has been added to the dial's applied stainless steel indices and hands. The seconds hand is also easily read in the dark thanks to a luminous dot of Super-LumiNova. The dial's indices and hands have been plated with PVD Gold.

The unidirectional rotating bezel is made of 316L stainless steel with PVD Gold plating and boasts a high-tech scratch-resistant ceramic bezel insert which rises conically between the stainless steel bezel and inner glass rim. The luminous dot of Super-LumiNova in the centre of the top triangle provides additional orientation.

A 60-minute scale is displayed prominently on the rotatable diving bezel, giving the Ternos its characteristic sporty yet functional appearance. The coloured bezel inlay is made of high-tech ceramic and is extremely scratch-resistant with a hardness (according to Vickers) of 1250 HV. It is also heat and corrosion-resistant, and proffers a fine feel thanks to a high-gloss polish. The production of these ceramic bezels is very elaborate; a great deal of expertise is required to produce the different colours in a consistent quality and colour brilliance. The scale on the bezel insert, which consists of a triangle, Arabic numerals and dots, is engraved into the bezel by a high-precision laser before being filled with the contrasting colour.

The Ternos Ceramic is powered by a Swiss made DAV 3021 automatic movement which provides precision, reliability and a high level of performance. It has a power reserve of up to 38 hours and guarantees a very reliable and accurate timekeeping experience.

A matching stainless steel bracelet with safety deployment clasp is supplied with the Ternos Ceramic. The middle links of the bracelet have PVD Gold plating applied to them. And thanks to the 'divers extension' integrated in the clasp, the Davosa Ternos Ceramic can be easily worn on top of a wetsuit.
