The Series 1 is the first collection in the revival of the Herodia brand of watches. A brand that was born over 60 years ago in Reconvilier, Switzerland by Henri Bargenter and renowned for its Swiss made quality, innovative and elegant styling together with the application of advanced mechanical movements.

The Series 1 represents a modern interpretation of the classic sports watch styling of the 50's and 60's and carries on the distinctive charm and precision of Herodia.

The 316L stainless steel cushion case measures 42mm in width with a lug-to-lug measurement of 48mm - an ideal size, striking a balance between wearability and dial readability, and an important trait of any dive watch. It is hand brushed on the top and sides, and highly polished on the bevelled edges, giving the case a fascinating and elegant mix of finishes.

The case also features an oversized polished crown reminiscent of sports watches of the 1960's. The crown is positioned at 3'oclock and is signed with a large 'H' symbolizing the Herodia logo . High quality Swiss made gaskets ensure that the watch has a water resistance rating of 30 atmos, or 300 metres.

The 120 click bezel, with a bright aluminium insert on top and large grooves on the side leaves no doubt that this is a bold professional sports watch. The bezel insert also has the characteristic and iconic diver markings of a triangle at 12 o'clock and 60 minute marks.

The dial sports a sunburst finish with SuperLuminova C3 Green luminous applied to the trapezoid-shaped indices, providing excellent readability in the dark. Whilst the unique handset with exaggerated minute hand further adds to the vintage diver feel of the watch. The dial is protected by flat sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating underneath.

The Series 1 is powered by the highly reliable and precise Swiss Sellita SW200 movement having 26 jewels and running at 28,800 vph with a power reserve of 38 hours.

To complete the classic styling, the Herodia Series 1 comes with a distinctive Italian made vintage leather strap which is hand stitched at the ends.
