The Squalematic 60 atmos takes its inspiration from the great Squale designs of the past, particularly the original Squalematic Diver from the 70's, in a perfectly authentic and respectful way but executed in the more contemporary size of 44mm diameter.

The 60 atmos has the typical Squale characteristics like the unique and highly recognizable “von Buren” case-shape which features a signed screw-down crown at the 4 o´clock position where the crown is slightly recessed and well protected against unwanted impact. Thanks to the recessed crown and the elegant flowing design of the 316L stainless steel case the watch is exceptionally comfortable to wear.

The hand-painted dial with the distinctly designed multifaceted steel markers and the application of Superluminova provides excellent legibility in all lighting situations.

The smooth, coin-shaped 60 click uni-directional bezel is tight and clicks positively. The highlight of this 70's inspired bezel is the gorgeous bakelite inlay with hand inserted multifaceted steel markers. Hand crafted using the the same techniques Squale has utilized over many decades, the bakelite bezel is coloured in a multi-stage process. First the phosphorescent material is applied by hand, followed by colouring with varnishes immune to seawater corrosion, and then application to the supporting steel substrate. This guarantees that the component is warm to the touch while guaranteeing excellent bezel legibility thanks to the transparency.

For ease of maintenance, the bezel can be removed by simply loosening the 4 small screws on the side of the bezel.

The scratch-resistant domed double convex sapphire crystal which is enhanced with an anti-reflective treatment protects this timepiece up to 600 meters below sea-level or 60 atmospheres of pressure. It also gives the watch a perfect retro look and feel and adds to the uniqueness and special character of the Squalematic 60 atmos . The double convex sapphire provides perfect legibility without blurring or optical distortion.

The Squale 60 atmos professional is powered by the tried and tested Swiss SW 200 automatic movement, and provides reliable and accurate timekeeping under the toughest circumstances.

A very comfortable matching tan leather strap with perforation for added breathability and comfort is supplied with the watch.
