The Sailmaster's case has a diameter of 45mm and is made of 316L stainless steel with a satin-brushed finish. The design and finishing of the case is both stylish and sporty. The case is water resistant down to 10 ATM - 100 meters underwater and features a nautical unidirectional turning bezel and turned-down lugs for a more comfortable fit on a wide range of wrist sizes. The large screwed down crown is protected with solid flared crown guards and is located at the 3 o'clock position. Either side of the crown are pusher buttons for operation of the timer functions.

The caseback is made of 316L stainless steel and is screwed-on in order to ensure its water resistance. There is also an additional sound box on the case back for loud acoustic signals.

The matte dial is protected by a scratch resistant sapphire glass crystal with an anti reflective coating to ensure that the dial can be easily read even under direct sunlight. There is a date window at the 6 o'clock position. The dial has a tactical planner layout with recessed sub-dials and applied indexes. Super-LumiNova luminescent material is applied to the hands and indexes.

The TNG Sailmaster is powered by a Swiss made high precision quartz yachting timer caliber TNG-8270 which boasts 9 jewels and rotating stepping motors as well as End of Life (EOL) indication. Operating functions include chronograph hours, minutes, seconds – sailed time and an adjustable sailing countdown timer with acoustic and optical signals.

The Sailmaster comes with either a genuine leather, stainless steel or water resistant TPU strap. These quality TNG straps are equipped with a patented TNG Folded Safety Buckle; designed to give a luxurious comfortable fit, easy to adjust, highly durable, safe as in ‘stays on your arm if accidentally opened’ and - last but not least - makes your watch look great on your wrist and stay that way! As an added safety feature, the watch strap is attached to the watch using screw-bars, given that the watch will be worn on and around water.
